Mandevilla
Sun Exposure: Bright Light to Indirect Light.
Bloom Time: Mid-summer to Mid-fall.
Water: Keep soil moist.
A real favorite, the blossoms of a Mandevilla are available in a variety of colors this season. These versatile plants, which include bush and vining habits, will climb or trail beautifully and bloom non-stop from spring through fall. They are ideal in containers, on trellises or arbors, grown as a hanging plant or as a trailing groundcover.
Alocasia
Sun Exposure: Partial sun.
Bloom Time: Grown for Foliage.
Water: Keep soil a little dry – not water logged.
Lime green veins highlight the lush dark green leaves on this plant. The underside is a surprising deep purple color, offering a sense of variegation in your patio container. This palm is an instant “thriller” plant when used in a container, as it reaches up to six feet tall!
Jasmine Sambac, Grand Duke of Tuscany

Water: Keep soil moist – not water logged.
The sweet and intense fragrance of a jasmine plant is classic. This is a slow-growing jasmine plant, but has beautiful large flowers that almost look like roses. Planting this ever-blooming flower will provide lush fragrance to your outdoor space.
Hibiscus
Sun exposure: Requires full sun, at least four hours per day.
Bloom Time: Mid-summer to Mid-fall.
Water: Do not allow to dry out. Keep soil slightly moist.
Attracts butterflies and hummingbirds.
With colorful blooms that blossom all season long, a hibiscus plant is a very full and lush plant to choose for your outdoor living area. Exotic multi-colored flowers, variations of pink and tri-colored bushes are some of the varieties available at English Gardens.
Passion Vine
Sun Exposure: Sun to Partial Shade.
Bloom Time: Summer to Early-fall.
Water: Well-drained, evenly moist soil.
The showy purple flowers on this plant will certainly be a point of discussion. Their vibrant colors and heady fragrance make the passion flower plant a welcome addition to any garden. Because they are vines (that can grow in length to 25 feet!), the best place for growing Passion Vine is along a trellis or fence.
Hawaiian Sunset Vine
Sun Exposure: Partial Sun to Full Sun.
Bloom Time: Mid-summer to Early-fall.
Water: Well-drained, evenly moist soil.
Attracts bees, butterflies and hummingbirds.
This plant is a fast grower, with continuous bright-colored and scented flowers. The lush foliage is shaped like a large, soft heart. It’s pollinator friendly, attracting bees, butterflies and hummingbirds.
Sundenia Dipladenia
Sun Exposure: Full Sun.
Bloom Time: Summer.
Water: Well-drained, evenly moist soil.
Stunning crimson-colored blossoms appear abundantly on this plant. It’s a relatively low-maintenance plant and attracts butterflies and hummingbirds. This plant is ideal for planting directly into the landscape or for an instant pop of color in container gardens, hanging baskets or window boxes. Selection varies by store.
